I LOVE kung fu movies and its even better when they address political issues.. such as RACISM. So this movie “Ip Man 2” is a kung fu flick that shows the spirit of Chinese martial arts and what it truly means to be Chinese. Which could be arguable because we are taught to be passive and to avoid conflicts, and this movie presents that value very gracefully. This movie is set in the early 30’s-40’s in Hong Kong when the British were still a major influence over the Chinese.. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes GOOD kung fu, drama, and shedding light on historical political issues. ENJOY!
